The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the adoption of new ways of working. As an organisation Banya Family Placement has had to rethink the way we work, the role of offices and how to create safe, productive, and enjoyable jobs and lives for employees.
Many more meetings are now being held via Zoom and remote home working has become the norm. Hence, Banya Family Placement are closing our Birmingham and Newport Pagnell offices, allowing staff to work virtually from home permanently from October onwards. These regional offices closed on the 30th September so please do not address post to them, but send everything to our main London address.
Our London Head Office Address is:
Banya Family Placement,
Units 1, 6 & 7 Croxted Mews,
286A-288 Croxted Road,
London, SE24 9DA
Banya’s Managing Director Chido Poe says, “Since the COVID pandemic struck in March we have realised that our staff will never return to working the way we did prior to COVID. We have recognised that we don’t need our employees sitting behind desks in offices. We trust them to work hard to get the best outcomes for our carers and children, wherever they are. We are a technology driven business and COVID has shown us that having most of our regional staff working remotely is our future. It improves the well-being and work life balance of our staff and provides flexibility to our customers. Working smart is better for everyone – our colleagues and our customers.”
Closing offices will have some economic benefits—but that was not the motivation. These savings will be invested into making our people more productive, whether they are at home or in the office.
