Banya Services & Facilities
Providing a robust fostering service to support local authority teams is really important to us and we aim to provide an excellent level of service. We endeavour to understand the needs of each local authority and work in partnership with you. Based on your needs we are actively looking for foster carers to support teenagers, parent and child and sibling groups across most areas of England.
Banya offers the full range of placement services including: emergency, short-term, long term, respite, bridging, assessment, and parent and child. For every placement, there is effective support through Banya’s carefully trained and matched foster carers, and their supervision by our experienced social workers. The Banya ethos is to respect the potential and aspirations of each child and young person.
Our Social Workers
Our social work team supervises and supports Banya’s foster carer households and the children and young people placed with them. The team comprises Senior Practitioners and Supervising Social Workers, all of whom are professionally qualified. The Fostering Manager, or in their absence the Deputy Manager, has direct responsibility for managing this team.
Our Care Standards
Banya aspires to follow best practice in care standards, with reference not only to legislation and regulatory or other guidelines, but also to the advice of professional bodies through Banya’s membership of Fostering Network and British Association for Adoption and Fostering.
Young people are well-matched with foster carers, who are providing good care in safe and comfortable homes.

About Banya
Banya is an independent fostering provider registered by Ofsted. It is a limited company operating in accordance with the Companies Acts 1985 and 1989. Banya’s directors, Service Manager and Fostering Manager, are responsible for fulfilling Banya’s statutory duties and responsibilities.
