Last Saturday, the Best Businesswomen Awards celebrated the accomplishments of some of the UK’s most outstanding female entrepreneurs who drive real impact in their respective industries and we are thrilled to share that Dorothy Shambambeva, Chido Poe and Nyasha Gwatidzo took home awards!
Dorothy and Chido are the Gold Winners of the Best Business Award, a testament to their remarkable work as Banya’s Service Director & Registered Manager and Managing Director respectively. Under their leadership, Banya has made a significant impact in child welfare, creating safe, nurturing environments for children in need of foster care.
In addition to Banya’s big win, Nyasha was honoured with the Silver in Best Businesswoman working with Children and Families. This accolade further highlights the outstanding commitment and passion within our team, ensuring the best outcomes for the young people we serve.
The Best Businesswomen Awards are the largest and most prestigious awards for women in business in the UK, recognising the immense talent, dedication, and success of female entrepreneurs since their launch in 2015.
Congratulations once again to the Banya Family Placement Agency leadership team for their well-deserved recognition at the Best Businesswomen Awards 2024, and for all supporting those who foster with us.
