At Banya Fostering, we know that changing a child’s life isn’t something anyone does alone. It takes caring people, supportive organisations, and passionate advocates all working together to make a difference.
We’re proud to be connected with individuals and organisations who share our belief that every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and part of a loving family. These partnerships help us raise awareness of fostering, support children and families, and strengthen the work we do every day.
Our Ambassadors & Supporters
Fatima Whitbread MBE
We’re incredibly proud to have the support of Fatima Whitbread MBE.
Many people know Fatima as one of Britain’s most successful athletes, but she’s also a passionate champion for children in care. Having experienced the care system herself before being fostered, she understands first-hand how important a stable, caring home can be in a child’s life.
Through her advocacy and campaigning, Fatima helps shine a light on the positive impact fostering can have and encourages more people to consider opening their hearts and homes to children who need them.
Her story is a powerful reminder of why fostering matters and why every child deserves the chance to thrive.
Charity Partnerships
Vana Trust
We’re proud to support the work of Vana Trust, a charity dedicated to helping vulnerable and disadvantaged people both in the UK and overseas.
Their projects include:
- A therapeutic farm in the UK, providing support for young people and adults with learning disabilities and mental health challenges.
- Educational support for disadvantaged children in Southern Africa, helping to fund school fees, uniforms, textbooks, meals, and university education.
The work of Vana Trust reflects values that are close to our hearts: creating opportunities, building confidence, and helping people reach their potential.
Working With The Wider Fostering Community
Nationwide Association of Fostering Providers
Banya is a proud member of the Nationwide Association of Fostering Providers (NAFP).
As the UK’s leading organisation for independent fostering agencies, NAFP works to improve outcomes for children in care, support foster families, and promote high standards across the fostering sector.
Being part of NAFP helps us stay connected to the latest developments in fostering, share best practice, and continue providing the highest level of support to our foster carers and the children they look after.
